Ci si dirige alla sede del Parco. Si attraversa la Litoranea e ci si immette nella “Foresta Planiziaria”, bosco di circa 3.300 ettari è un esempio di quella che era la Selva di Terracina. Nella parte che si visita per prima sono presenti daini. Si attraversa, scendendo dalla bici (attenzione alle auto) la Migliara 53 e si prosegue nel bosco fino alla Cerasella. Si fa poi una puntata verso nord e si visita la zona nord ovest in direzione della Litoranea e poi verso Capo d’Omo per andare a vedere la “piscina della Verdesca”.

Ci si dirige poi nuovamente verso la Litoranea con una tappa a “lestra Cocuzza” edificio storico, ex scuola ed ambulatorio nella palude, trasformato in un piccolo museo. Si esce dal bosco e si attraversa, scendendo dalla bici, la strada Litoranea (attenzione!). Percorrendo via di Sant’Andrea si incontra la chiesetta rurale di Sant’Andrea e passando di fronte la Caserma dell’Artiglieria Controaerei si rientra a Sabaudia.

Start at National Park Visitors Centre. Cross Litoranea Road and enter the “Foresta Planiziaria,” a forest of about 3.300 hectares, that is an example of the ancient “Selva di Terracina”. The first part of the forest visited is home to fallow deers. Cross tMigliara 53 Road (get down your bike, watch out for cars!) and go on through Cerasella forest. Head north to visit the northwest area towards Litoranea Road and then to Capo d’Omo Area to see the pool named “Piscina della Verdesca.” Then head back again towards Litoranea Road with a stop at “Lestra Cocuzza,” a historic building, former school and clinic in the Marsh, now a small museum. Exit the forest and cross Litoranea Road again (dismounting your bike, watch out!). Riding Sant’Andrea Road, encounter the rural church of Sant’Andrea and pass the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Barracks in returning to Sabaudia city centre.
